Östliche Ägäis

In comparison, a few Östliche Ägäis remain virtually secret spots – like Limnos and Lesbos, whose west coasts have so far been massively underestimated. Samos is somewhat limited to windsurfing by its very small, wind-facing bays. The highest number of wind-warriors are definitely drawn to Kos, where a few new kite venues have sprung up alongside the windsurf classics. On Theologos Beach with a strong Meltemi, you even get great waves. The Kos fanclub – mainly windsurfers – extol the all-round freeride package with summertime wind guarantee, temperatures over 25°C and all mod-cons.
