Cape Cod

About an hour south of Boston, Cape Cod is a sickle-shaped peninsular with over 500 miles of coastline. ‘The Cape’ is renowned as the landing point for the Pilgrim Fathers, New England’s first European settlers in 1620, who anchored ‘Mayflower’ in the natural harbour of what is now Provincetown. Today the endless beaches are a cherished rural escape for stressed urbanites as well as playground for a hardened kite and windsurf scene. Although summer in Massachusetts is warm and friendly, the water’s still going to be cold!
