Costa Brava Sur & Barcelona

If you like a bit more culture with your nightlife, drive on to the beaches of Costa Brava Sur & Barcelona. In spring and summer, Garbí’s also the common wind here for freeride (with light-wind kit) or kiting (where permitted). Winds are generally very light though. Autumn and winter’s a different story; good days on wave kit in either low-pressure Garbí (south-westerly – eg; Malgrat or Palamós) or Levante (north-easterly). Unfortunately, the classic winter days with big waves can be counted on the fingers of both hands. But Gaudí’s home has much more to offer – its unique blend of city, beach, culture, fiestas, nature and industry definitely justifies a visit to the Catalan capital.
