Devon & Cornwall, South Coast

The distinctly greener and less battered Devon & Cornwall, South Coast offers a delightful contrast to the scenery of the North Coast. In fact, this area’s charm inspired Agatha Christie to write her novels. This coast suits south-westerly winds and also offers the chance to exploit easterly weather systems, common in late spring and early autumn. Take your pick of some of the country’s most famous wavesailing breaks – Porthleven, Marazion and Bigbury – or one of the many freeride locations nestled amongst this coastline’s numerous bays. Head east from Devon and the weather becomes progressively sunnier.
