Scotland East Coast
No less legendary is the northernmost point of the Scotland East Coast, with its big-wave spots Thurso and Dunnet Bay. As well as guaranteed uncrowded waves, you’ll also find spots nearby that suit an easterly. Follow the coast southward and the beaches get sandier. The west coast Firth of Clyde is to Glasgow what the east coast Firth of Forth is to Edinburgh. You’ll find a number of moderate freeride and wave spots within striking distance of this proud city, where a modest kite and windsurf scene welcomes visitors with fine Scottish hospitality.
