Baia di Talamone

A superb high-pressure thermal venue in summer, since the breeze gets an extra boost from the cape, providing this bay with cross-offshore wind over super-smooth water. The vibe in the little clifftop village in front of lush backcountry is amazing. It can get really crowded on the water though, as Talamone is one of the few official summer kite zones and offers a large standing-depth area for beginners. Parking is virtually on the beach, but beware of a few rocky ledges in the launch area (boots might be wise).
