This bay gets a little less Levante than Tarifa, yet does enjoy a bit more swell. Winter offers really good chances of decent wave sessions, but it’s mainly bump-&-jump in summer. Just the view of this vast sandy beach and turquoise water merits the drive over a steep pass. Ride in the east of the bay from the outskirts of the village, where kiters are only tolerated in winter. Two beach-huts serve food and drink in summer, complete with a view of the spot.
