Relaxed ocean blasting in easterlies, maybe even with some nice ramps in northerlies – especially with wind against tide. Despite its shallow depth, strong tidal currents and the nearby shipping lane don't suit beginners. Parking is 400m away, but at least out of season you can load and unload behind the dyke. Parking fees and tourist tax aren't too steep.
