The best windsurf launch on the river is located on little 'Praia Os Bloques', south of Ribadeo. You’ll have to walk down from the road – but a little effort is rewarded with grassy rigging areas and large concrete steps down to the water at low tide. The first few metres are a bit gusty, but the wind really picks up further out . as does the chop and tidal current.
