T'Hekje, Ouddorp
Zeeland
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
Just around the corner from the old launch, opinions on T'Hekje are split these days. West-south-westerly blows perfectly cross-shore and the waves run pretty clean, but sadly the bay is filling with sand so big days are increasingly rare unless it’s stormy. Then again, it's a great alternative when it’s too rough elsewhere. Flood tide pulls strongly downwind, especially noticeable when it’s not so windy. Although Ouddorp is technically part of Zuid Holland province, the landscape reflects the beautiful expansive dunes of Zeeland. But there’s a downside. The hike to the water is a long one; come back to change rigs and your day could almost be over. Thieves operating in the car-park know all about this too!
