Elounda is an option for southerly winds, when there are freestyle conditions downwind of the road – although it is gusty. With no shallow water and little room on land, it's not ideal for beginners but it is doable. For choppy water and jumps, there's also a launch into onshore conditions from a little island upwind of the road.
